Trying to make an “ocean” for our sea creatures in the sensory table was gooey fun!
Later in the week, we traded the green sea for a blue ocean.
By weeks end, a request for ice cubes in the sensory table was so cold but by afternoon, where did the ice go?
We counted sea creatures and made up patterns with crabs and dolphins.

Why is the ocean salty?
Does it float or sink? We made predictions with some of our favorite fruits. Grapes, strawberries, blueberries, a tangerines and a tomato and then we observed what happened.
Many beautiful spring days allowed us to spend time outside. Some of us explored the bark and sticks from a tree that is not healthy. What happened to the tree?
Family fun day was such fun and the playground next to the visitors center in Forest Park was the culminating activity for our younger friends.
