At The St. Michael School of Clayton we cherish close, positive, supportive and respectful student / teacher relationships. Each student feels a strong, personal connection with their teaching team. The core curriculum in the early grades is designed around a workshop model, and becomes more collaborative and discussion-based as students develop through upper grades. Teachers, parents, and students work together as a team to establish personal and curricular goals and establish frequent communication pathways. Student classrooms are paired together in suites with leading team-teachers to promote educational and social enrichment. Life skills and interest-based topics are interwoven with traditional skills to create a dynamic curriculum.
