VIP Day / Halloween : Students and VIPs love this special event. Our students dress up in Halloween costumes and join our all-school parade for our VIPs in our Great Hall. Afterwards, VIPs join their students in their homerooms for a snack and time to connect. Later in the day after the VIPs depart, our 5th & 6th grades host a Halloween Carnival for our younger students to enjoy.
Winter Performance : Families are invited to attend the TSMSOC’s Winter Performance that is held in the Great Hall the week prior to Winter Break.
Variety Show : Students sign up to participate in our variety show that takes place the Friday before Spring Break. Parents and families are invited to cheer on their students while they perform dances, sing songs, wow us with magic tricks and jokes, as well as showcase instrumental talents.
Orienteering Day : Students in grades Junior Kindergarten through Eighth grade, meet at Tilles Park to complete age-appropriate orienteering course in late Spring. We enjoy lunch and playtime at the park as well.
Forest Park Adventure : Fifth through eighth grade students are joined by faculty on a fun-filled biking mission throughout Forest Park for the day that is themed on our Hub topic for the year.
Graduation : Graduation is held approximately one week before the last day of school in the Great Hall for the Eighth grade. The ceremony is traditionally followed by a dinner for the graduates’ families and invited guests.
End-of-Year Party : Families are invited off-site to join us at a park to celebrate the closing of the school year. It is a casual event in which parents bring picnic items and students can play together.
Speaker Series : Each year TSMSOC organizes a speaker to visit and share information with our parent and faculty community. In the past years we have featured various psychologists, authors, and interest-based seminars at school
