
Allyson graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders and a minor in Psychology. After graduating, she worked for two years in Fulton, Missouri as a Speech/Language Implementer. She loved the job so much, she decided to go back to Truman State University for her Master of Arts degree in Speech/Language Pathology. After earning her MA, Allyson worked for Special School District for five years, followed by eight years at a non-profit, and then to a private practice before joining The St. Michael School of Clayton last year.
Allyson is married to Jamie and they have two daughters, Evelyn and Elaine. She enjoys reading and yoga/Pilates in her free time. She loves her job and how supporting students with their speech/language concerns can help them succeed in the classroom. She is excited to be at The St. Michael School of Clayton and to be a part of the school’s unique way of connecting with each student and their own individual learning styles.
