Nora graduated from the Regina Mundi College in Arequipa Peru as an elementary school teacher. Her first teaching job was in the jungle of Peru. She worked as a secular missionary for five years. In the jungle she worked with Yaminahuas, Amahucas, Piros and Machiguengas (tribes in the southern jungle of Peru). She also was the director of a group of secular missionaries and a director of an elementary school in Timpia (a mission in the jungle).
Nora also in taught in Lima, Peru in a public school and a private school. In Peru she taught math, language arts and religion. In the United States, she taught in Our Lady of Lourdes school in University City.
Nora came to The St Michael school in 1998. Here she loves the fact that she is able to meet and teach all the students at the school. Her passion is to teach the kids to speak Spanish. Nora loves to teach the students the culture of Latin American countries, to sings Latin American songs and play board games and read books for the students to practice Spanish vocabulary and pronunciation.
Nora loves to travel around the world. She loves meet people and to know the cultures of other countries.
