Veronica graduated from Saint Mary Catholic University in Arequipa – Perú with her Bachelor degree in Early Childhood. She obtained her Masters degree in Family Educational Counseling at Villanueva University – Spain. She has obtain her Missouri Teaching Certificate.
Veronica worked for many years in a bilingual school in her native city until she move to the United States. She worked as a preschool and Spanish teacher in St. Louis Missouri for six years before she was introduced to The St. Michael School in 2016 as a Spanish co-teacher. Veronica always wanted to work at a school that emphasized the Reggio Emilia curriculum and she was very happy to find The St. Michael School. What Veronica enjoys most is the opportunity to bring her creativity and imagination to her lesson plans and being able to share this with all of her students.
Veronica is also a mother to a college student, high school student, and a middle school child. She has had the opportunity to travel to many countries in the Americas like Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, and Bolivia. Veronica is able to bring her travel and culture into her Spanish class.
Veronica enjoys traveling, playing tennis, riding bikes, and reading and she has been married for 14 years and she has a 3 year old Puggle at home.
